Why Electric Vehicles

electric_charging-_stations

Electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) are energy efficient and:

  • EVs don't burn fossil fuels, improving air quality
  • PHEVs, while they do have a gas engine to extend beyond their electric driving range, are still considered zero emission vehicles
  • EVs and PHEVs both reduce greenhouse gas emissions
  • EVs and PHEVs both save money on fuel costs
  • EVs and PHEVs both support investment in the new economy of Clean Energy
